What is Arc Guard?
Arc Guard™ is an innovative safety device that attaches to welding lead connectors. It is designed to help aid in the elimination of two common and very dangerous job site hazards: arc exposure and dropped objects.
The spring-assisted cap automatically covers the energized female end when disconnected — mitigating the risk of arcs near flammable liquids and gases. This is extremely hazardous in the presence of hydrocarbons. When connected, the cap and collar lock together preventing unintentional separation, therefore reducing the risk of a falling object accident.
How Arc Guard Works
